Muhammed Akbar

Muhammed Akbar, the son of Mian Alam was a Muslim of the high-ranking Janjua Rajput caste from the village of Sihrwali near the district city of Dinga in Gujrat, Punjab (now in Pakistan). He was a member of the Shore Committee supporting the passengers of the Komagata Maru. He had been a member of the Hong Kong police before immigrating to Canada and he was an active member of the Ghadr Party in Vancouver for many years after the Komagata Maru incident.
